Three Cleveland Cavaliers legends receive championship rings

Three legendary Cleveland Cavaliers have received championship rings following the Cavaliers historic comeback against the Golden State Warriors to win the 2016 NBA Championship. 

Austin Carr, Campy Russell and Jim Chones were all gifted the rings on Thursday night according to the team's Twitter account. 

Carr, affectionately known to fans as Mr. Cavalier, was drafted by the Cavaliers in 1971. He played nine season with the team, averaging over 16 points per game. He played shooting guard and was a one time All Star.

Russell was drafted by the team in 1974 and went on to play seven seasons with the team. The small forward, known by some as Mr. Moves, averaged 16 points and five rebounds per game while making one All Star team with the Cavs. 

Chones was a power forward and center who played a few season in the American Basketball Association before coming to the Cavaliers in 1974. He played five seasons for the wine and gold, averaging 14 points and nearly 10 rebounds per game.
