NEW ORLEANS - Even with the return of Kyrie Irving after three weeks, the Cavaliers losing streak was extended to eight straight as the New Orleans Hornets dominated the second half enroute to a 112-92 win.
Irving missed the last three weeks after suffering a shoulder injury in Toronto back on March 10th.
Irving played well in his first game back. Kyrie finished with a game high 31 points on 11 of 20 shooting and dished out six assists.
The Hornets controlled the second half outscoring the Cavaliers 64-43 after the Cavs held a 49-48 lead at halftime.
Reigning number one overall pick Anthony Davis recorded a double double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Greivis Vazquez lead the Hornets with 25 points. Ryan Anderson added 23 points off the bench.
The Cavaliers will face the Hawks in Atlanta tomorrow night. Kyrie Irving will not play in that game.
