The Cleveland Cavaliers Small Forward Richard Jefferson spent the night before Game 6 not relaxing, but writing a letter about his team.

The origin of Lil Kev, working together as a team, and understanding that the fans want to see the players as who they really are were a few of the main points in the letter, which can be read on The Player's Tribune.

Jefferson talked about the chemistry issues within the team that were made public, including LeBron James and Kevin Love, Kyrie's injury, the team getting a new coach, and more. Here are a few lines from Jefferson's writing:

"That’s when I realized that the Lil Kev story may have started as a joke, but it had grown into something more than just some fun thing that I was doing on an app during my down time. It showed us being ourselves but more importantly, it reflected what was true about our team. And you know what happened? Some of those chemistry questions started quieting down."
