NBA schedule release: Cavaliers open the 2013-2014 season vs. Brooklyn Nets

CLEVELAND - Andrew Bynum's wine and gold debut and Mike Brown's second go around as head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers will begin at Quicken Loans Arena this season.

The NBA released its 2013-2014 regular season schedule on Tuesday evening. The Cavaliers will host rookie head coach Jason Kidd, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and the new look Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday October 30th at 7pm. The game will be broadcast on NBA-TV.

The Cavaliers and Nets will also conclude the regular season in Cleveland on Wednesday April 16th.

Akron native LeBron James and the World Champion Miami Heat will make two visits to Cleveland on Wednesday November 27th and Tuesday March 18th. The Cavs travel to Miami on Saturday December 14th.

Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers will make their one visit to Quicken Loans Arena on Wednesday February 5th. The Cavs travel to the Staples Center on Tuesday January 14th as part of a five game trip out west. It will be Mike Brown's first trip back to Los Angeles to face his former team since being fired last season.

As for the other team that plays their home games at the Staples Center, Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers come to Cleveland on Saturday December 7th. The Cavs face Lob City in L.A. on Sunday March 16th.
