One strike and you're out, when it comes to parking downtown. Opening Day may be postponed, but that still means parking problems for Tribe fans.

Many paid up to $40 to park on Monday, just to find out the game wasn't happening.

"We went to like eight lots, ended up spending 30 bucks to park all the way down there away from the stadium," Matt Marron told newsnet5.com.

Many who didn't pay big bucks to park, dealt with tickets or tow trucks.

Jeffery Derosett, with Kufner Towing, said they tow cars on Opening Day every year.

"We'll probably tow anywhere between 15 and 100 depending," he said.

Derosett said this happens every year.

"Just pay attention to where you're parking, that's all I can say," he said.

Tribe fan, Donald Biggins, said he's mad he paid $30 to park for nothing.

"They waited too late to tell us there's no game," Biggins said.

Other fans, like Matt Marron, said parking downtown is annoying, the postponed game is a bummer, but it's really hard to disappoint a Cleveland sports fan.

"We're gonna be out here. We are the most loyal fans in America. Believeland," Marron said.
