A student at Ohio University left class to go to the World Series, and his professor's response went viral.

When Ohio University student, Charlie Winovich's father got his family tickets to the World Series, he did what most students would do - showed up to class, signed the attendance sheet and left to go to the game. When his professor found out, she promptly emailed him, asking if he could explain or if she should "take it as deceit."

Winovich replied, explaining that his family had tickets to the World Series and even attached a photo of himself and his brother at the game.

His professor agreed the World Series was an acceptable excuse by saying "Charlie. That looks like an impeccable excuse. No repercussions. Go Tribe!"

Winovich documented the whole exchange on Twitter, captioning the screenshots with "ROLL TRIBE" and tagging the Indians.
