Jim Thome will be inducted into the Cleveland Indians' Hall of Fame in 2016, the team announced Friday.
Thome will be inducted along with Albert Belle, Frank Robinson and Charlie Jamieson during a July 30 ceremony at Progressive Field.
Thome played 13 seasons in all for the Indians. According to the team, "his 337 homers and 1,008 walks in a Tribe uniform are the most in club history."
Belle is the only MLB player in history to hit 50 home runs and more than 50 doubles in the same season. He ranks second in club history in homers, with 242.
Robinson was the first African-American manager in baseball history, serving as player manager from 1975-1976.
Jamieson, who played for 14 seasons with the Indians, was a member of the 1920 World Series team.
