Indians fall in Cactus League Opener to Reds 8-3

GOODYEAR, Ariz. - Baseball is back. The Cleveland Indians opened up their 2014 Cactus League schedule with an 8-3 loss to the Cincinnati Reds at Goodyear Ballpark.

Tony Walters got the Indians on the board in the 5th inning with an rbi single to center to drive home Ryan Raburn as part of a two run inning.

The Reds sealed the victory in the 7th inning with a 2-run home run by Chris Heisey of C.C. Lee.

Colt Hynes took the loss for the Indians. Trevor Bauer made the start and pitched a scoreless inning with a strike out. Aaron Harang also pitched a scoreless inning with a strike out..

The Tribe and Reds will square off the next two days in Goodyear. The Reds will be the home team Thursday, the Indians will be the home team on Friday.
