Indians lose home opener to Red Sox 6-2

For the seventh time in eight years, the Cleveland Indians dropped its home opener, losing to the Boston Red Sox 6-2.

Former Cy Young award winner Corey Kluber struggled most of Tuesday afternoon, taking the loss and allowing four runs and nine hits in 5.1 innings of work.

David Price recorded the win for the Red Sox striking out 10 Indians batters in six innings of work.

The Indians and Red Sox return to action tomorrow night at Progressive Field for game two of the series. First pitch is set for 6:10.
