Judge: LeBron's Mom No Different Than Other DefendantsGloria James' Tardiness Irks JudgeUPDATED: 8:35 am EST March 29,
2006 AKRON, Ohio -- LeBron James' mom isn't helping her standing with the judge in a case accusing her of drunken driving. Gloria James showed up 10 minutes late Tuesday for a hearing in Akron Municipal Court. That prompted Judge Lynne Callahan to tell her lawyer that the Cleveland Cavaliers star's mom was no different from any other defendant. Gloria James is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, disorderly conduct and damaging police equipment. Officers said they pulled her over in January after her Cadillac Escalade almost hit their unmarked vehicle. Previous Stories:
