CLEVELAND -- Kellen Winslow Jr.'s surgery Tuesday on the right knee was successful. The Browns tight end had surgery after he injured his knee in a motorcycle accident, NewsChannel5 reported.
Winslow spent nine days in a hospital after his bike hit a parking lot curb. Winslow was involved in a motorcycle accident in which he tore his right anterior cruciate ligament and his kneecap. His rehabilitation should take nine months, and he will miss all of next season. In his first interview since the accident, Winslow told the Akron Beacon Journal that he also lacerated his liver and kidney, bruised his shoulder and cracked a bone in his upper right leg. Winslow said he regrets having the accident and apologized to fans. The Browns top draft pick, Braylon Edwards, missed practice because of a death in the family. He is expected to be at practice Tuesday. Meanwhile, Antonio Bryant and Dennis Northcutt worked with the first team as wide receivers.
LeBron James tallied 32 points, nine assists
and seven rebounds, and the Cavaliers benefited from a cold-shooting 76ers
club in the fourth quarter to come away with a 97-91 victory.
