CLEVELAND -- Cleveland Mayor Jane Campbell has declared April 7, 2003, Cleveland Indians Day. Campbell is inviting all Clevelanders to participate by wearing Indians attire.
April 7 is also opening day at Jacobs Field. This year will mark the 103rd home opener in Cleveland and the 10th at Jacobs Field.
"This season will be as exciting as ever with the new faces and talent that will be taking the field on opening day," Campbell said. "As we look to rebuild the City to be competitive with others, the Indians are rebuilding to make another championship run."
