CLEVELAND -- Many exciting promotional events will be held during Tribe games at Jacobs Field this season.

Some of the special promotions will be specifically for children under 14. Children will have the chance to receive player rubber ducks, bobblehead dolls, lunch coolers, backpacks and Ty "Teenie Beanie Boppers."

Items to be given away to fans of all ages include magnet schedules, Omar Vizquel artwork prints, player figurines, CD/DVD cases, baseball caps and mousepads.

In all, 39 promotional giveaways will be held.

Special Events To Be Held

A variety of special events will also be conducted during the 2003 season at Jacobs Field.

• "Kids Run The Bases": The popular "Kids Run the Bases" event will return on five separate dates for children 14 and under.
• "Families Run The Bases": The Indians will allow "Families to Run the Bases" in celebration of Father's Day on June 15 following the 1:05 p.m. game against Los Angeles.
• "Turn Back the Clock" Day/Senior Stroll: The Tribe will "Turn Back the Clock" on July 13 versus Chicago (details to be announced at a later date). In conjunction with "Turn Back the Clock Day," the Indians will debut the "Senior Stroll" for the more mature Cleveland Indians fans to walk around the bases.
• Bicentennial Celebration: The Indians are planning to host a celebration for the Ohio Bicentennial on June 28 during the "Battle of Ohio" Cincinnati series.
• Fireworks: Fireworks will also return following eight games during the season.
