Former Browns Player Arrested On 2nd OVI Charge

Former Browns player Hanford Dixon was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of drunken driving, his second OVI arrest in the past year.

According to police, the 49-year-old Dixon was stopped early Saturday morning on Clague Road in Westlake.

Police said he smelled of alcohol and was unable to recite the alphabet.

Police said he refused to submit a breath sample at the police station and his license was automatically suspended.

Dixon was charged with OVI and improper lane use and is due in court on Tuesday.

Dixon was convicted of drunken driving last year.
