CLEVELAND -- The woman singing the "National Anthem" at Thursday's Indians game at Jacobs Field has ties to the Boston Red Sox.

Country music singer Danielle Peck is from Coshocton. Her family is said to be Indians fans, but there is some question about where Peck's loyalty lies.

Her Web site promoting her music career has a picture of Peck wearing a Boston Red Sox hat and shirt.

It was also reported that she used to be involved with tonight's starting pitcher for Boston, Josh Beckett. They met last summer, but the relationship is over.

The Indians said it happens to be a coincidence. They said they didn't know about her love connection.

Peck recently released her first single, "I Don't." She is said to be a rising country star, opening for acts like Toby Keith.
