Professional Fans Stake Out Ritz For NBA Autographs

People Collect Autographs To Sell On eBay

People who make a living by getting celebrity autographs were found outside downtown's Ritz Carlton Tuesday, hoping to get autographs from players.

The people collect autographs then sell them on eBay or in retail stores.

More than a dozen people were camped outside the Ritz Tuesday morning as the Spurs left for shoot-around at the Q.

The professional fans say it's not an easy job and involves a lot of waiting, strange hours and a little begging.

They say some players are easier to pin down for autographs, such as Gilbert Arenas and many of the Cavs, such as Eric Snow.

The not-so-willing players include Kevin Garnett and LeBron James.
