The federal government has issued a baby blanket recall.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said the satin edge on the Lil' Snugglers children's blanket can come loose, causing a choking hazard.

The blankets are 14 square inches with an animal head sewn in the middle. Several different styles are included in the recall.

The blankets were sold between April 2006 and December 2007.

Parents are urged to return the blankets immediately for a replacement.

For more information on the recall, go to www.cpsc.gov.
