Two people were taken to Huron Hospital after being shot Saturday morning, according to police officials.

Police said someone attempted to rob two individuals in the vicinity of East 72nd Street and Duluth Avenue around 2:49 a.m.

The victims were allegedly shot by the robber. No other details about the incident have been released by the police department.

Police are investigating the incident.
