CLEVELAND -- There is a lot of information you should know about Election Day.

Your ballot must be postmarked today if you plan to vote by mail.

The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections said 200,000 people have applied to vote by mail.

Citizens can also take their ballot to the board of elections on Euclid Avenue Tuesday before polls close if it hasn't been mailed.

The polls open at 6:30 a.m. and will be open until 7:30 p.m.

There are several issues on the ballot, and both sides of issues will be busy with last-minute campaigning.

Supporters for Issue 6 will hold a rally Monday at 11 a.m. at the Soldiers and Sailors monument in downtown Cleveland.

Students from Olmsted Falls marched down Bagley Road Sunday afternoon, carrying signs in the hopes of getting support for Issue 107.

If voters do not approve the tax increase, the school may lose its athletic programs.

Remember that you will need your identification in order to cast your vote. Be sure not to wear any candidates' paraphernalia. Do not wear any election buttons, hats, T-shirts when you head to cast your vote.

Below is other information that citizens need to know:

• Everyone must show identification to cast regular ballots at the polls.
• Acceptable ID is one of the following: a driver's license, state photo ID, military ID, utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, government check or other government document showing the voter's name and address.
• Even if the address on the driver's license or state ID is outdated, voters should be allowed to cast regular ballots as long as the ID is not expired.
• Notices mailed by the board of elections are not acceptable ID.
• If you are denied a regular ballot because of improper or no ID, the law requires that you be given a provisional ballot that should be counted if you swear in writing that you are a registered voter and do one of the following: give the last four digits of your Social Security number at the polling place; provide valid photo ID or the last four digits of your Social Security number at your county board of elections within 10 days of the election; or swear in writing that you do not have valid ID or a Social Security number.
• Provisional ballots must be voted in the correct precinct assigned to the voter by the elections board in order for the ballots to count.
• If you requested an absentee ballot to cast your vote but still haven't turned it in, you can drop it off at the Board of Elections on Tuesday. Do not take the absentee ballot to your polling place.
• Voters can report problems or request help through the state's election hot line by calling 1-866-OUR-VOTE (1-866-687-8683.)
