Cleveland mayoral candidate Bill Patmon said he is running out of money to catch up with incumbent Frank Jackson.

The former City Councilmember has less than $3,000 to spend before the election, the Plain Dealer reported.

Since declaring his candidacy in June, Patmon has raised about $25,000. This is far less than the $400,000 he once said he needed to beat Jackson.
