Jackie Norris Named Michelle Obama's Chief Of Staff
The Iowa director of the Obama campaign has a new job as Michelle Obama's chief of staff.
Jackie Norris said she wasn't too surprised to receive the call from the soon-to-be first lady because there'd been talk about it in the past week, KCCI-TV reported.Norris said that she initially had one reservation about accepting the position."This is about family," she said. "This isn't just about me. This is about three kids, a husband, a wonderful home in Beaverdale and all of those other things that go along with it."She said she's telling her kids, ages 3 and 5, that her job will be the Norris Adventure.Norris said she hasn't decided when she will leave for Washington but will probably head there a few weeks before the rest of her family.
