Cuyahoga County Commissioner Peter Lawson Jones provided additional information about contractor relationships with the county Wednesday morning.

Lawson Jones said additional relationships with the county have been identified for Steve Pumper of DAS Construction and Michael Forlani of Doan/Pyramid Electric LLC.

In a written statement, Lawson Jones said Pumper is a 25 percent managing member of Allerton Apartments that received a $1 million Brownfield Redevelopment Loan for Parkview Apartments. This was awarded to support the cleanup and renovation of the 199-unit Parkview Apartments.

Pumper was also the main contact for 1170 Ivanhoe LLC, a Commercial Redevelopment Fund Project and a Brownfield Redevelopment Project operated and owned by other Pumper family members and a DAS employee.

Prior to the merger of Doan Electric and Pyramid Electric, Forlani owned Pyramid Electric and received $1.18 million.

The statement also said since the merger, Doan/Pyramid Electric LLC has received $1.34 million for services rendered.

Cuyahoga County also provided a $350,000 Economic Development loan to Deep Three Partners, LLC, solely owned by Forlani.

During a news conference Monday, Lawson Jones said Blaze Construction had received $17.5 million. The company in fact received $17.9 million.
