Kings Ink D Harrold

POSTED: 8:50 pm EDT July 21, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Kings re-signed defenseman Peter Harrold to a three-year contract Monday. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Harrold, who was a restricted free agent, recorded five points (2G, 3A) in 25 games for the Kings last season. He also picked up a pair of assists in 12 games in 2006-07 for Los Angeles.

The 25-year-old signed with the franchise as a free agent in April, 2006 following a successful four-year stint with Boston College. One of his teammates with the Eagles was current Kings centerman Brian Boyle.
