Eagles' Westbrook Active Against Redskins, Andrews Out

POSTED: 1:00 pm EDT October 5, 2008

(Sports Network) - Eagles running back Brian Westbrook has been activated for Philadelphia's game against the Washington Redskins on Sunday, but right guard Shawn Andrews will miss another game.

Westbrook was listed as questionable for the game because of a right ankle injury that kept him sidelined for last week's 24-20 loss to the Chicago Bears.

The injury occurred in a contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3. Because of the injury, Correll Buckhalter started the game against the Bears in place of Westbrook and had 66 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown.

The Eagles will continue to miss their Pro Bowl right guard Andrews, though. Andrews has missed the previous two games with a back problem.
