Saints Sign Veteran CB Glenn

POSTED: 8:38 pm EDT April 7, 2008

(Sports Network) - The New Orleans Saints have signed free agent cornerback Aaron Glenn, the team announced Monday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Glenn, a first-round draft pick by the New York Jets in 1994 out of Texas A&M, has recorded 41 career interceptions, fifth among all active players. However, his production has tailed off over recent years, as Glenn played in just five games with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2007, intercepting one pass.

For his career, the 5-foot-9, 183-pound Glenn has returned six picks for touchdowns and has accumulated 633 tackles in 201 regular season games with the Jets, Jaguars, Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys.
