Ravens Sign Flacco

POSTED: 11:22 am EDT July 21, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Baltimore Ravens signed quarterback Joe Flacco, their first-round draft pick, to a five-year contract Monday.

Terms were not disclosed, but the Baltimore Sun reported earlier that the deal could be worth $30 million, including $8.75 million in guaranteed money.

Flacco, who played collegiately at Delaware, was the 18th overall pick in this year's draft. He started all 15 games as a senior and threw for 4,263 yards with 23 touchdowns against only five interceptions.
