A suicide bombing at a railway station in Russia leaves at least 15 dead, just over a month before the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
The blast happened in the southern Russian city of Volgograd, about 400 miles from the site of the upcoming Olympics. Over 40 others were injured in the explosion.
A spokesperson for the Russian health ministry says eight are in serious condition, with one in 'extremely serious condition'.
It's believed a woman carried out the attack. Authorities are still trying to identify the suspect, but investigators have reason to believe the woman came from Russia's Dagestan region
The train station attacked is one of the five largest in Russia and is a major transit point for much of southern Russia. It was unclear whether the train station was the woman's intended target or whether she planned to travel elsewhere to carry out an attack.
