A Warrensville Heights murder victims' family is seeking more answers Monday.
26-year-old Jessica Coleman was found shot to death near Cleveland railroad tracks at the end of May and there are still no suspects, but while police continue to investigate, Coleman's family says there's something else they aren't doing
"We've suffered enough," Jessica Coleman's mom, Jamie Coleman, said.
Coleman said the bills are piling up. And police won't sign a form releasing Jessica's life insurance policy to her beneficiary, her.
"They had to get a form filled out from Cleveland police stating that my wife was not involved in my daughters death in any way," Jessica Coleman's father, Clifton Coleman, said.
He added that it's one thing if they can't sign it yet, but the family deserves an explanation.
"We want to know what's going on! Tell me, if you're not going to do this, just tell me why," he said.
NewsChannel 5 reached out to Warrensville and Cleveland police. They didn't want to go on camera, but a sergeant said every case is different. In this case, no suspects have been identified and no one has been ruled out. So they can't sign the form.
Jessica Coleman's family said they hope that changes sooner rather than later.
"This case could take a long time," Clifton Coleman said.
