NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Oh. - North Ridgeville police said two juveniles missing from their city were found safe Thursday at a house in Cleveland.
Detectives discovered Jamie and Christa Boggs staying at a residence in Cleveland. The teens had been missing since January.
Officers set up surveillance and observed both Jamie and Christa in the Cleveland area. They were found with Megan Boyer, a 22-year-old formerly of Elyria.
During the investigation, it was learned that Boyer was aiding and harboring Jamie and Christa during their disappearance, police said. Boyer was also wanted by the Lorain County Sheriff's Office for violating her probation from an aggravated robbery conviction.
Both tens were taken into custody without incident and were in good health. Jamie and Christa were transported to the Lorain County Detention home for previously entered standing orders.
Boyer was placed under arrest and transported to Lorain County Jail. Additional criminal charges against her are pending in connection with the disappearance of Jamie and Christa. The investigation is on-going.
North Ridgeville police received assistance from the United States Marshall's Service Violent Fugitive Task Force, Cleveland Police, Elyria Police, the Lorain County Sheriff's Office and the Lorain County Adult Probation Authority.
