Troopers seize 4 pounds of marijuana after traffic stop in Wood County

ROSSFORD, Ohio - Troopers seized several pounds of marijuana and other drugs after a traffic stop in Wood County.

The seizure was announced Wednesday morning.

The discovery was made after police stopped a Dodge Charger with Michigan license plates for speed in Rossford.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said they smelled marijuana coming from the car when they came up on the vehicle.

Officers said they found four pounds of marijuana, 15 grams of heroin and 100 Alprazolam pills inside the car.

Troopers said they arrested 27-year-old Michael Bradley of Harper Woods, Mich., 25-year-old Kevin Burnside III of Detroit and 27-year-old Deandre Wilson of Columbus, Ohio.

All three were with charged with both second- and third-degree counts of possession of illegal drugs and trafficking in illegal drugs.

All of the suspects are being held at the Wood County Jail.
