CINCINNATI - Scholars and others who study and support Egypt and American ties with the Middle East nation will gather in the U.S. Midwest next weekend.
The 64th meeting of the American Research Center in Egypt will present and discuss academic and archaeological research coming out of Egypt. The organization also promotes conservation of Egyptian antiquities, architecture and monuments, besides supporting research into its history and culture.
The private, nonprofit group works with Egyptian officials, and dates to 1948. It sponsors education and training opportunities.
Non-members who want to learn more about Egypt from the experts can buy tickets for one or all of the three days of presentations that begin in Cincinnati on Friday, April 19.
