Daylight Saving time means last call for alcohol is earlier Saturday

COLUMBUS - This weekend's Daylight Saving Time clock change means a half hour less revelry at Ohio bars.

The Ohio Department of Commerce's Division of Liquor Control reminded residents today that bar clocks must abide by the time change — which means setting clocks ahead one hour at 2 a.m.

Since closing time is 2:30 a.m., bars must cease alcohol sales before the clock ticks from 1:59 a.m. to 3 a.m.
