Michelle Obama coming to Cleveland on Monday

CLEVELAND - The fight for Ohio and its 18 electoral votes will continue next week with a visit from the first lady.

Michelle Obama will be making campaign stops in Cleveland and Delaware, Ohio on Monday, an Obama official in Ohio said.

The first lady has not made many appearances in our battleground state. She did speak during the Democratic National Convention about her husband being a "man we can trust."

"He reminds me that we are playing a long game here ... and that change is hard, and change is slow and it never happens all at once," Michelle Obama said in September.

President Barack Obama spoke at Ohio State University on Tuesday at the Oval in front of roughly 15,000 people, campaign officials said. More than a thousand turned out at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium for campaign speeches from Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
