CLEVELAND - Joyce Healy-Abrams is the Democratic candidate running for election to Congress in Ohio's 7th District.
As the challenger in District 7, Healy-Abrams is a businesswoman who believes her experience can help in Washinton.
Representing the newly re-drawn District 7 means working for the voters in parts of 10 counties. Re-drawn, the new District 7 is located in the north-central portion of the Ohio, and includes the counties of Knox, Coshocton, Tuscarawas, Holmes, Richland, Ashland, Huron, Medina, Lorain, and Cuyahoga.
We asked Healy-Abrams why she wants voters to send her to Washington, why she believes she's a better choice than her opponent, how she has prepared herself to represent voters in a district which spans 10 counties, how she would work with members of Congress to create jobs and raise declining tax revenues in Ohio, and the country.
