CLEVELAND - Bob Gibbs is the incumbent Congressman running for re-election to Congess. Gibbs, who is a Republican, was first elected to Congress in November 2010. He is currently serving his first term in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Gibbs is seeking his re-election in the newly re-drawn District 7. This new district is located in the north-central portion of the Ohio, and includes the counties of Knox, Coshocton, Tuscarawas, Holmes, Richland, Ashland, Huron, Medina, Lorain and Cuyahoga.
We asked Congressman Gibbs why he's seeking re-election, what makes him the better choice over his opponent, how he's prepared himself to potentially represent a new constituency of 75 percent new voters and how he would work with other members of Congress to create jobs, as well as increase the declining tax revenues in Ohio and the country.
