Governor John Kasich has said if he didn't win the Ohio Republican Primary, it was "ballgame over." Tuesday night, the governor hit one out of the ballpark in one of the biggest games of his political life.

Kasich took the stage at 9:15 p.m. to a thunderous ovation. He thanked hundreds of his supporters at the watch party at Baldwin Wallace University's recreation center. He was flanked by his wife and two daughters.

In his victory speech, Kasich spoke from his heart. He thanked democrats who crossed over party affiliation and voted for him in the republican primary. He even thanked Florida Senator Marco Rubio, who dropped out of the race shortly after losing the Florida Republican Primary.

Kasich never mentioned Donald Trump, but he did say he was ready for Hillary Clinton. He then thanked all the people who traveled so far to support him.

"You know what, look, this is all I got!" Kasich said. "This is all I got, and all I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart. But I want you to know something: we are going to Cleveland and secure the republican nomination."

Before he does that, Kasich hits the campaign trail in Philadelphia Wednesday where he will try to capitalize on his huge win in Ohio.
