Election Webcast
NewsChannel5 will be offering a special election night webcast that will be examining the races important to people in northeast Ohio. Hosted by political reporter John Kosich, the report will discuss the presidential race and examine restuls as they come in at local precincts. The feed runs from 8 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday and can be accessed here: http://newsnet5.com/webcast. The live election chat will also be active on this page.

Crew Information
Here is a breakdown of where the NewsChannel5 news team will be stationed for Election Day and election night:


Political reporter John Kosich (Twitter: @KosichJohn) will be stationed in our newsroom, closely monitoring the presidential election and all of the races across northeast Ohio. Watch his live webcast starting at 8 p.m. Chief Photographer Mike Harris will be working with John on the live feed, which is being produced by Tara Sutton. John will also be joined by our trio of analysts, Dr. Tom Sutton from Baldwin-Wallace, Lee Weingart (GOP) and Peter Lawson Jones (Democrat).


5 On Your Side Troubleshooter Joe Pagonakis (Twitter: @JoeOnYourSide) will be checking to see if there are any problems voting in northeast Ohio, and will be checking out the situation at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections' warehouse location.


5 On Your Side Chief Investigator Ron Regan (Twitter: @InvestigatorRon) will be stationed at the Ohio Secretary of State's Office in Columbus with photojournalist Gary Abrahamsen, and will be examining the statewide ballot-counting effort and monitoring how the state handles any issues that may arise.


5 On Your Side Investigator Sarah Buduson (Twitter: @SarahBuduson) will be located at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections' warehouse, where all of the ballots from the county's precincts will be coming in to be tallied. Photojournalist Ted Kortan will be working with her.


Reporter Bob Jones (Twitter: @BjonesChannel5) will be in Columbus, along with photojournalist Rich Geyser (Twitter: @GetRichOutdoors) , covering Sen. Sherrod Brown's campaign. The Democrat is vying for re-election for the U.S. Senate.


Reporter Michael Baldwin (Twitter: @BaldwinReports) will be also be in Columbus, covering Sen. Brown's challenger, Republican Josh Mandel. He'll be working with photojournalist Brian Archer.


Reporter Paul Kiska (Twitter: @PaulKiska) will be covering one of the most watched Congressional races in the country -- Ohio's 16th District. He and photojournalist Joe McGee will be at Republican Jim Renacci's campaign in Wadsworth (Medina County).


Reporter Tracy Carloss (Twitter: @TracyCarloss) will also be covering that high profile 16th Congressional District race. She and photojournalist Bob Fenner will camp out at Democrat Betty Sutton's campaign in Parma (Cuyahoga County).


Reporter Stephanie Ramirez (Twitter: @RamirezReports) will be covering the race for Ohio's 14th Congressional District. She and photojournalist Steve Cummings will follow the match among Republican David Joyce, Democrat Dale Blanchard, Liberterian David Macko and Elaine Mastromatteo with the Green party.


Reporter Deb Lee (Twitter: @DebJLee) will be covering the Clevleand Municipal School District Levy, and monitoring the other school levies across northeast Ohio with photojournalist Tom Livingston (Twitter: @TomLivingston5).


Anchor Lee Jordan (Twitter: @JordanWEWS5) will be sitting in at our update desk, keeping you informed of the ever-changing races and issue of the night. Look for her reports during ABC's election coverage, as well as during our webcast and 11 p.m. newscast on NewsChannel5.


Anchor Leon Bibb will be talking with John Kosich during the two-hour webcast, providing an overall historical perspective of elections past and present. He'll be talking about how the elections have changed, how the parties have changed and how the jobs of those in the media have changed over the decades.


Throughout the night and then at 11 p.m., anchors Danita Harris (Twitter: @DanitaHarris) and Chris Flanagan (Twitter: @FlanaganWEWS) will be anchoring our coverage of Democracy 2012.


Behind the scenes at our studios, our elections guru, Tom Misson, is heading up all things election-related at the station.
