CLEVELAND - Congressman Dennis Kucinich picked up a major endorsement for his re-election campaign on Sunday. The longtime Congressman is in an all or nothing battle against Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur.
Kaptur's district was merged with Kucinich's.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. threw his support behind Kucinich on Sunday. He rallied with Kucinich at St. Mary Romanian Orthodox Cathedral in Cleveland. Kennedy said he doesn't usually make primary endorsements but had to make an exception.
"The idea of a Congress without Dennis Kucinich would be disheartening," said Kennedy.
Kennedy said he has worked with Kucinich for years on environmental and public health issues.
