Known for a long history of April Fools' Day pranks, internet giant Google has unveiled a Pokemon hunting Easter Egg inside of Google Maps apps.
The game only shows up in the latest version of the app.
The game starts with a new, blue button added under the search menu within the app. Tap on it, and the map re-centers on a cartoon home on Google's California campus.
Paying homage to the Pokemon cartoons and video games, the area is littered with "wild Pokemon" that players can find. Tapping on one of the Pokemon identifies the creature and offers a "catch" button.
In all, 150 Pokemon are available to be caught.
