Adam Jones fields the punt at his own 19. Missed tackle 1: Rookie Johnson Bademosi, #37, comes hard at Jones but misses on a full-out sprint, failing to wrap him up after Jones jukes right.
Tackle 2: #56 Kaiuka Maiava stares down Jones placed at the 26 but Jones makes Maiava think he's going left and jukes right, causing Maiava to miss
Tackle 3: Christian Yount doesn't have much of a chance and has Cedric Peerman in the way. He makes a diving attempt at Jones but probably had the least chance of stopping him, based on Jones' speed and his position.
Tackle 4: As Jones passes the 30, Eric Hagg has the best shot at a tackle on this play. It seems that Hagg will be able to stop the play here, taking a parallel approach at the 33.
Hagg gets a piece of Jones' leg slowing him briefly but failing to get him down.
Missed Tackle 5: Josh Cribbs, just shy of midfield, is at the wrong angle and Jones blows by.
As Jones reaches midfield three Browns stand in the way of Jones and the end zone, with two Bengals to provide blocking. #45 Jeromy Miles takes care of punter Reggie Hodges knocking him backward to the ground.
#16 Andrew Hawkins misses a block opportunity on Craig Robertson, allowing him a chance at Jones.
At about the 42, Jones' body is close to a 90 degree angle to the plane of the endzone. Smith, the last man to beat, approaches Jones at about a 45 degree angle. From this, you see if the two continue this way, Smith could stop Jones.
Jones, however, smartly sees this & instead alters his course outside, stopping Smith in his tracks & making it nearly impossible for him to regroup in time. Missed tackle 6: Robertson comes close too but does not have the speed to finish a tackle
Missed tackle 7: Smith tries to re-adjust but with Jones just two yards away there's not enough time. He has lost the angle and his attempt at Jones is a miss.
Chris Ogbonnaya attempts to chase Jones down but there's no catching him as he completes the 81-yard runback for a touchdown.
