Where did you watch World Series Game 7 between the Indians and Marlins October 26, 1997?

Our video player contains a sampling of where some fans watched.

A crowd of some 3,000 people crammed into Nautica Pavilion behind the Powerhouse in the Flats. Those watch parties we popular throughout the baseball playoffs.

The hardy souls who joined WEWS reporter Joe Pagonakis that evening were a special breed. There was a steady rain and temperatures hovered around 50 degrees.

Reporter Debora Lee and I were stationed outside Jacobs Field in anticipation of the celebration that would take place if the Indians won. I pulled out a battery-powered black and white TV so fans could watch.

But alas, those at the ballpark and at Nautica left cold, wet and dejected as the Marlins won game 7 in 11 innings.
