CONGRESS, Ariz. - A wildfire that tripled in size in just hours on Sunday sent thick smoke over parts of northern Arizona much of the afternoon.
NewsChannel5 Scripps sister station ABC15 viewer Matt Oss captured time-lapse footage of the Yarnell Hill Fire burning near the small town of Yarnell around 4 p.m. Sunday.

With a vantage point just off State Route 89 in Congress, Ariz., Oss' footage clearly showed flames creeping over a mountaintop as thick smoke poured into the air.
Officials on Sunday night confirmed 19 Prescott firefighters had been killed in the 6,000-acre blaze, and 250 structures had been lost.
