SLIDELL, La. - A Louisiana man is facing burglary charges after police say he forgot a crucial part of his break-in plan: his disguise.
Slidell police said Richard Boudreaux went out Tuesday night dressed in camouflage, gloves and burglary tools to steal from his former employer.
Officers said he forgot the seafood restaurant where he used to work has security camera, so he put a bucket on his head. He was able to get away with cash from the register and tried unsuccessfully to hit another business.
Police said they caught up with him at home and arrested him.
He now faces burglary charges and additional drug charges for items police found in his home at the time of his arrest.
