"Guns don’t kill people, toddlers do."

It’s the satirical message in a new PSA one anti-gun violence group hopes will get their message across.

The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence posted the video on YouTube over the weekend hoping to get people talking.

It says that every week a toddler accidentally shoots and kills someone by getting ahold of an unsecured gun.

An analysis by the Associated Press and USA Today recently suggests those numbers are accurate.

Dan Gross is the president of the Brady Campaign says he hopes it gets people focused back on the issues of gun violence during the campaign.

“This hopefully in a satirical and hopefully entertaining way furthers an important dialogue in this country what we can do and what we all agree on will make us all safer,” Gross said.

The NRA did not respond to a request for comment on the PSA.
