CLEVELAND - FedEx is getting ready for what it predicts will be the busiest day in company history next month.
The company expects to ship more than 19 million packages on Monday, Dec. 10.
That's 10 percent more than on its busiest day last year and more than double the volume it handles on an average day.
FedEx said it thinks online shopping and people sending holiday packages will bring more than 280 million shipments through the company in the next 30 days.
To handle all of the extra volume, FedEx added 20,000 seasonal position to help make all of the deliveries.
