Retailer Neiman Marcus has settled a case with the Federal Trade Commission for misrepresenting some of its fur products.
The upscale department store sold items labeled as "faux fur" when actually it was real fur.
The settlement also claimed Neiman Marcus sold items labeled as mink when it was actually rabbit fur.
According to the FTC, the merchant also failed to disclose the country of origin for the fur in three other products which is required by law.
Online retailers DrJays.com and Revolve Clothing were also fined for misrepresenting its fur clothing.
