The Wayne County Sheriff warned the public of a hoax ISIS bomb threat being passed around by students.
On Monday, the Wayne County Sheriff posted on Facebook that there was currently a message being passed around by Wayne County students stating school would be closed due to a bomb threat by ISIS.
The sheriff said the message included a link to a list of 'all schools closed,' but really the link went to a pornographic picture of a man when clicked.
"Clearly this message is a HOAX," the Wayne County Sheriff said in its Facebook post. "Similar messages have been passed about the country for months. If you or your child receive such a message DO NOT open the link."
