MINERAL CITY, Ohio - The Mineral City Fire Department in Tuscarawas County is a total loss after storms tore through on Wednesday.
High winds nearly leveled the building and severely damaged the department's trucks, fire officials said.
The fire department in nearby Bolivar will service Mineral City as they regroup from the damage.
No one was injured.
The Red Cross has set up shelters for residents affected by the storm.
Mineral City is about 15 miles south of Canton.
