Barberton Police say two adults are in jail for drugging, raping and photographing young girl

BARBERTON, Ohio - Two adults--a man and a woman--are in jail in Barberton after police say they worked together to drug, rape and photograph a girl under the age of 13.
Jacob L. Singleton, 33, of New Franklin, is accused of stealing a prescription sleeping aid and anti-depressant, giving it to Cecilia D. Lower and directing her to drug the girl, rape her, take photos and send them to him.
Lower, 30, is being held on a $1 million bond on two counts of rape and one count of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.
Singleton is also being held on a $1 million bond, for charges of complicity to commit rape and pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.
Police added that Lower is suspected of administering a prescription medication to another juvenile.
They seized cell phones, drugs and drug paraphernalia and sexual stimulation devices from the two suspects' homes.
Singleton is scheduled to be arraigned in Barberton Municipal Court Wednesday at 1 p.m.
