TWINSBURG, Ohio - A Twinsburg man was arrested Thursday for drug trafficking after a month-long investigation conducted by Twinsburg detectives.
Alan Christian, who was convicted of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor in July of this year, was arrested after police were tipped off that Christian was selling marijuana and cocaine.
After obtaining a warrant, detectives stopped Christian in his car outside of his home where they found a gram of cocaine, a small amount of marijuana and $460 in cash, police said.
Detectives said they also searched Christian's home, where they found drug-processing equipment and a .40 caliber semiautomatic handgun.
"I'm not sure if this was stupidity or brazenness on his part, but obviously someone was aggravated enough by his activity to give us the information that Christian was dealing drugs while awaiting sentencing on crimes that could result in a prison sentence," Chief Chris Noga said.
"I would hope that his bond on his original case will be revoked so that he will not be able to continue his criminal activity in our community."
Christian was booked into the Solon jail, where he is being held without bond.
